There are countless ways to enjoy the beauty of northern Wisconsin, and ICORE is here to show you how! Iron County Outdoor Recreation Enthusiasts (ICORE) is a group of people dedicated to:

  • Promoting the development and maintenance of silent sports infrastructure, planning and promoting outdoor activities, and encouraging our local governments to include silent sports and other outdoor activities in their planning.
  • Facilitating the expansion of bike trails in Iron County.
  • Hosting weekly kayaking, hiking, and snowshoe outingss
  • Adoption of  trails and trailheads

Mission and Vision:

The Iron County Outdoor Recreation Enthusiasts (ICORE) are a group of silent sports enthusiasts promoting the responsible use of land and water open to the public for the enjoyment of all, with the following goals:
  • Promote non-motorized recreational activities on land and water.
  • Enhance and expand silent outdoor recreational opportunities in and around Iron County, Wisconsin.
  • Provide opportunities for volunteers to help support recreational development and maintenance on both land and water.
  • Obtain grant monies to help finance the organizational purpose.
